Hey, Las Vegas!
Welcome to Go Shop Local. Go Shop Local began as an idea to lend a hand to local businesses affected by the Coronavirus Pandemic. When the impact of COVID-19 began to lead to shut downs and tightened regulations, two Las Vegas locals, Ben Burkhalter and Maxine Ross, began working on developing their new marketing company. As residents themselves, Ben and Maxine decided to use their knowledge and skills to simultaneously begin an effort to highlight local Las Vegas businesses throughout the valley. The goal was to increase small business exposure and develop a platform for small businesses to lean on during uncertain times. The purpose of Go Shop Local is to highlight small businesses in the area, and to work together to help motivate Las Vegans to GO SHOP LOCAL. Navigating through times like these can be tricky, but together we can offer advice and support to each other and to those businesses that may need it. The ultimate goal is to allow small business owners to have an outlet that provides growth and support. This is a community-motivated movement with heavy emphasis on respect and kindness. Our opinions may differ, but our goals are the same: to get our city back! Thank you again for your support in this endeavor. We are #VegasStronger |
